I have always been a Daddy’s girl. I treasured our Thursday park-park-days (when he’d go in late to work to spend the morning with me at the playground), and our fancy father-daughter dates. We started singing in church together when I was eight years old, and went on to do four community theater productions together... including The Music Man. I played Zaneeta Shinn and Dad bowed after me as the 2nd tenor in the Barber Shop Quartet! What a star! We STILL love dueting together (this is from Jan 2020 in Scottsdale, AZ), where Dad rushed straight from his optometry conference to attend my concert & join me onstage! Love you so much, Dad. Thanks for believing in me & my dreams all these years! You’re an incredible leader, a man of great integrity, and the best fatherly example I could have asked for.
