Why does it need to begin on minimotos? Let him explain... - “The reason why we started this new program with 7-10 year olds is they’re pure. In the sense of what they want to be when they grow up. They are not spoiled in the sense of the monetary rewards and popularity yet, compared to current kids between 14-16, whereby the national championship has in some way influenced them more towards an ambition of money, fame, than the real objective of going to the World Championship. So I want kids who are pure in that sense, who want to be where Valentino Rossi is, Fabio Quartararo… the burning desire to BE in MotoGP™ and be a champion.
