Here, Sabad Ali packs up her family’s home in the temporary camp where they’ve been living, outside Burao, Somaliland, since losing their vast herds to the 2016 drought. Now the government has told them they must move again. With the World Bank predicting that there will be 143 million environmentally displaced people by 2050, countless more Somalis will be pushed from their homes, with women and girls bearing the weight of displacement.
