(visiting my best friend in college.) eating vegan mac and cheese. pissed off at my country and it’s trash president (bush.) punk taught me pretty much everything i knew about the injustices of the world - not school. or i taught myself. ⁣ ⁣ now i’m 33. same energy. i still eat vegan mac and cheese while sitting that same weird way on my couch. i’m still pissed off at my country (just with less teen angst) and it’s trash president. i’m still teaching myself about the injustices of the world because this world won’t do it for you. educating yourself is a privilege. i suggest we all look around and figure out ways to invoke change, however big or small it may be. pop the bubbles we live inside of that keep us small and saying “omg i had no idea” - in the hopes that 15 years from now, our kids, brothers/sisters, students, neighbors, etc. don’t have to look back on a photo of themselves and see such little change in the world they live in. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again - a better world is possible. we have the information to make it happen. i hope we make it happen. back then i wouldn’t have said that because i had no hope. glad i have some hope now.」6月24日 2時24分
