If you’ve followed my platforms for some time you may have heard me talk about anxiety on multiple occasions and from many different angles.  How suddenly your mind and body can seem to spin out of control. How easily it can manifest from the overwhelm of feeling over exposed to the energies outside of you. One of the best tools I ever added to my life tool kit was the habit of flow.  Tuning into my body and breath, especially during moments of internal chaos or external uncertainty, so I could anchor back into my bones and stop burning away all of my inner power.  I didn’t think of it as yoga back then. I was just breathing and moving to music in organic ways that helped sooth my scattered and shot nerves. It felt more like flow if anything. It kinda felt like a dance.  In reality, no matter where you are or what you’re doing, sinking into your breath and syncing into the subtle feeling of what it is to be in your body in whatever form or movement it takes is an instant invitation to dance with life.  It brings you back into your flow, your power, your consciousness. It creates space and awareness of your energy so you can then move it forward with attention and intention. You don’t have to call it yoga. You don’t have to wear cute, stretchy pants and bend your body in all kinds of ways to add the same tool to your kit.
