Today marks the 51st anniversary of the beginning of the Stonewall riots and we are reminded that Black trans women were at the forefront of this dawning of the Pride movement.
This year, the ground is shifting and important changes are taking place across the country to right racial inequity.
We reached out to LaLa Holston-Zannell, Trans Justice Campaign Manager at the American Civil Liberties Union (@aclu_nationwide), to discuss trans rights, Black Lives Matter and what we still have to do to achieve equality for all.
