On the 8th of October 2019, Michael was involved in a dramatic workplace accident as he was electrocuted with 12,000 volts of electricity! Fighting for his life, Michael went into a coma, but it was after waking up from his coma where Michael found #MotoGP helpful to his recovery! Watching the races, seeing the riders battle and listening to the commentary remarkably seemed to stimulate his brain in such a way that helped him to recover faster! Michael is still going through his recovery but watching racing and analysing the technique the riders use in each turn is proving to be a great mental exercise for him! We cannot express enough how truly amazing Michael’s story is and we have to thank Amber Carey for informing us of his incredible road to recovery!
