It is hard to accept that I need surgery again and it scares me but I believe this is for the best. The positives are that the timing is good and that I have another year to prepare for the Olympics. This sport has challenged me a lot and it will continue to challenge me but when I’ll stand at the starting line in Tokyo next year, I know it will have been all worth it!
