“Darling, I want my gay rights now.” - Marsha P. Johnson.
Johnson was known as an advocate for gay rights. She Spearheaded the Stonewall Uprising in 1969 and was an HIV/AIDS activist with ACT UP. Johnson was on the front lines of protest against oppressive policing. She also helped found one of the country’s first safe spaces for transgender and homeless youth. Pride would not exist without Black Trans Women.

Though it is the end of June, may you all continue to be filled with pride. 🌈
