2019年9月、私たちは地球の裏側 ペルー・リマの’Mozh Mozh’ のstudioに居ました。
敬愛する'Mozh Mozh'と、まったく新しい、
このスペシャルコラボレーションを作り出すために。

アマゾンの伝統文化を継承しながらも、唯一無二の感性で、モードかつコンテンポラリーなコレクションを生み出す’Mozh Mozh’。
古き尊い伝統に新たな息吹を吹込み、人の手で紡ぎ、そしてサスティナブルな工程を守る。

これからの時代に、
私たちが目指したい姿がそこにはあり
大きな尊敬と、心高まるプロダクトを生み出してくれる才能に感謝を抱きます。

今回CITYSHOPのために、
まったく新しいカプセルコレクションが誕生しました。

About the Collection...
We wanted to make something special and unique for the Pop Up at CITYSHOP, something that could connect us with the audience so they could feel a breeze of MOZH MOZH.
We thought we should make a tee special edition collection recycling all the dead materials we had at the studio so far. So we went to a close vintage store in Lima and bought a bunch of t-shirts to then tie them with the team at the Studio. After we did this we asked the ladies who normally collaborated with us in our collections to embroider these t-shirts with our beads and furs in a way they were embroidering a t-shirt for a kid. This was the fun part! The result was exactly what I was expecting.

The little market bags were also made recycling peruvian market bags that is something very commun to use here, we wanted to transform it and give it a new shape, a new life.

CITYSHOPでのPOP UP STOREを開催するにあたり、私たちとオーディエンスの皆さまを繋ぐ何か、特別でユニークな何かを作りたかったのです。
皆さんに’ Mozh Mozh’の風を感じてもらうために。
そこで、これまで使用しstudioに残っているマテリアルの数々をリサイクルして、スペシャルエディションのtee collectionを作るべきだと考えました。
まずリマにある親しいvintage storeで大量のTシャツを購入し、studioのチームでそれをタイダイに染めたのです。
そして、いつも自身のコレクションでコラボレーションしている職人の女性に、ビーズやファーを使った刺繍を依頼しました。それはまるで、子供用のTシャツに刺繍をするように。これはとても楽しいパートでした！仕上がりは、まさに私が期待したものに。

小さなマーケットバッグもまた、ここペルーでとても日常的に使われている伝統的なマーケットバッグをリサイクルし作り上げました。
見慣れた何かが、新しい形で、新しい毎日へと昇華できるように。
