Today marks six months since the #COVID19 outbreak was first reported. It is important for all of us to keep taking precautions against #COVID19 and understand how to keep it from spreading again. I’m honored to #PassTheMic to Harriet Walton, an Emergency Medicine Nurse at @ucl Hospital and a member of the UK Emergency Medical Team with @uk_med on the frontline of the UK’s response to humanitarian crises overseas. 

With support from #UKaid, she’s worked in the middle of health emergencies all around the world, from Sierra Leone to Bangladesh to Cambodia, and is an expert on keeping communities healthy and safe. Today she’s taking over my account to tell us more about why we need one connected global response to COVID-19 and what young people can do to help.
