I’m so saddened by the hate, discord, and slander that’s been circulating on social media over the past several months. There are definitely joyful, positive feeds out there, but I’ve come across some posts and comments that grieve me and break my heart. What you say when no one can see or identify you has a lot to say about your character. And oftentimes I notice that the most hurtful remarks are coming from adults. The anonymity of the internet does not give you the license to be rude to other humans. Instead of tearing people down with your judgements and criticism, please try your best to build people up. You may think you’re practising free speech or just stating your opinion, but often times, you’re just being divisive, and it’s not a good look. Please let’s all be kinder to one another, and have better social media etiquette. #thinkbeforeyoutype
