Well, you heard the man, for decades black folks have been denied equal access to the American Dream. We were prohibited from buying homes in nice neighborhoods where we could’ve been establishing our legacies for our families like many white families have done, but we were refused entrance. Why? Racism is why! So, please stop trying to argue that racism doesn’t exist in America. Just because you don’t see it, it is alive and well. This is part of the reason why black families haven’t been able to rise up out of the destitution we have been in for decades (centuries). Until these ideas are changed and local and federal governments put money into inner city schools and neighborhoods and laws are written that prohibit redlining, gerrymandering, voter oppression, voter suppression and over-policing you all will continue to show us that black lives do not matter!
