July marks the beginning of monsoon season at Bryce Canyon National Park in #Utah. Above the high plateau, towering clouds expand slowly on warm afternoons until they burst with furious downpours. Rain and wind from thousands of such storms have helped carve this curious landscape. Hoodoos - also called “goblins” - appear as tall, skinny spires of rock sticking up from the bottom of dry basins and range in size from the height of a person to as large as a 10-story building. Nowhere in the world has more hoodoos than #BryceCanyon. Photo @brycecanyonnps_gov by #NationalPark Service. #FindYourPark #usinterior
