From our UNDERGROUND Library this copy of SEARCH and DESTROY issue 10 includes an interview with William Burroughs. First appearing in 1977 and taking its title from the Stooges song of the same name, Search and Destroy ran until 1979 and was the creation of V Vale. With a old school kickstarter financial contribution from Allen Ginsberg the zine was an intellectual probe into the connection between punk and dadism and surrealism. With only 11 issues the zine still managed to pack in interviews with Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, The Clash and Talking Heads.⁠
