無農薬栽培、手作業での収穫がされるコートジボワール綿。品種改良のされていない「原種に近い」綿とも言われ、綿への負荷が少なく綿本来の素朴で柔らかな風合いが特徴。この綿で作られた商品の売上の一部を現地へ還元しています。
JAPAN BLUE JEANS has developed the items which is used Côte d'Ivoire cotton for years.
Cote d'Ivoire cotton, which is pesticide-free and harvested by hand. It is also said to be “closest-to-the-nature” cotton that has not been breed, and features a simple and soft texture that is original to cotton with little load on cotton. A portion of the sales of productions made of this cotton is returned to the locals.
