My initial concept was to sell British fashion and accessory brands that I loved and wanted to introduce to Hong Kong. This gradually evolved as I learnt more about local consumer taste. Having my own retail store also allowed me to continue creating my own womenswear designs and also test run new ideas. One idea that I kept going back to was to launch @mrmenofficial personalisation in Hong Kong. Year after year, it still hadn’t been done so I decided to make contact in 2018 and was surprised when they answered. I still remember our 1st meeting. I had no babysitter and turned up with my daughter in tow. Discussions led to the real deal and @sarahreginalai joined the business to start our Happyland journey. And what a happy journey it has been. Despite all the challenges we faced in Hong Kong, we felt it was the right time to rebrand into Mr. Men Studio. Excited to announce @mrmenstudio will open at Unit S104 at @pmqhkdesign this Saturday.
