This summer, as we face global realities that we cannot turn our heads from, escape bears a different meaning. We're forced to find ways to focus on exploring our lives, taking time to ponder the things we care about and how to contribute to a greater healing; healing ourselves, our communities, our planet. While exploring the world isn't on the itinerary, I revisit memories and photographs of summers past, appreciating the places I feel lucky enough to have been, each one inspiring.
