One of my favorite theater memories belongs to The Lion King. I saw the touring production in San Francisco in 2003 (I think?). I was twelve. I had never seen anything big like that before. The show began. The sun began to rise. The animals emerged. I leaned over the mezzanine and saw the elephant. That ELEPHANT. I’ll never forget the tears pouring from my eyes, straight out of my heart. It was magic. I was never the same after that. 💫 Please wear a mask. Please be considerate of others.
