Since Love, Death & Dancing came out a month ago(?!) I’ve been all over the place. It’s been interesting explaining to people that although the album is about my emotional healing, it is not about how I have 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘥. Releasing this album has, admittedly, felt like someone tied my shoelaces together. I haven’t lost my footing, but I’m stumbling a little.
It’s been even more difficult figuring out how this album has connected with people, because no matter how congratulatory and earnestly written your encomiums are, I cannot bring myself to believe them.
But I cannot argue against these videos of you bursting with movement. I would be declaring myself untrustworthy if I tried. Your dancing amplifies the evidently undeniable fact that this music 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 people 🤍
I’m proud of it, and of myself, and of you 🤍
Keep listening to Love, Death & Dancing. I can’t wait till we can all dance in the same room together 🤍
