With the world facing uncertainty, we set filmmaker, writer and surfer, Mr @james_aiken, a challenge: document when it means to be a surfer in 2020. What he found is that it was the ocean keeping him calm. "During the pandemic," he says, "I realised that surfing is one of the key aspects of my life, a source of joy and a solace. It was probably the first time in years that I hadn't had to travel and could just relax into a routine that thankfully was based almost entirely around the ocean."
