セリーナ・ジェイトリーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (セリーナ・ジェイトリーInstagram)「GRACIOUS NEPAL: Few years ago (2016) I was in Nepal ( Kathmandu) for an event. In my free time my secretary and I decided to play “tourist” and went exploring to a popular area called THAMEL, after sometime I heard some beautiful Buddhist chanting in a mesmerising voice emerging from a quaint CD store. Drawn to the music we entered this quaint CD shop, I was so moved by the chants that I did not realise crowds started gathering in recognition around the shop causing immense havoc & humongous stress to my manager. However, the shop owners were so kind not only did they along with nearby shop owners manage the crowd, they offered us tea and introduced me in detail to the soul stirring music of @anichoyingdrolma a Buddhist nun / devotional singer with a voice that goes to the centre of your soul. I was so touched by the warmth and simplicity of these people. Despite their humble background and my deep insistence they wouldn’t let me pay for any of the CD’s. While many brands send many grand gifts my way, the true humility and love of these simple people really touched my heart immensely. Following this trip I misplaced my backups and lost these pictures and never had the opportunity to thank these kind wonderful people in #Nepal. I was going through my recovered archives and was elated to find these last night. I know they are on @instagram but i do not know how to reach them. I want them to know the music they gifted me got me through the death of my parents and my baby son, their gift is one of the most valuable things I have ever received with no expectations in return. If anyone knows them in #kathmandu please do connect them to me. I am so blessed they touched my life and their simplicity and genuine love for me and my work is something i would always keep treasured in my heart.
