It’s been six years since Eric Garner uttered the words “I can’t breathe” as he had the life choked out of him by New York police, for selling cigarettes on the sidewalk. So many people around the world have mobilized since then to end police violence and systemic racism and yet to date, very little has changed. We need to keep our foot on the gas pedal until we see police accountability in all the outstanding cases and defund and demilitarize police departments and use those tax dollars to fund community based safety programs that are more effective and cost less. #justiceformuhammadmuhaymin #justiceforbreonnataylor #justiceforgeorgefloyd #justiceforelijahmcclain @innocenceproject
