Rest in power John Lewis - a true civil rights leader and icon. One of the few politicians I can say I love , an ideal leader in so many ways. One of the original "Big Six" founders who organized the 1963 March on Washington, and played key roles in the Civil Rights Movement along with its actions to end legalized racial segregation in the United States. Someone who sat on the White House floor for over 25 hours demanding to vote on gun control , and countless other sit on’s since his years as a politician and civil rights leader. Thank you .
