(stay and swipe for my posing 101) 🌷 this is for everyone that sticks their stomach out in self hate in front of the mirror. grabs, tug, pull on your skin. glare at yourself and pick apart everything that doesn’t look like what you see on tv or media. why are we so cruel to ourselves? we would never treat another person the way we can be so unkind to ourselves. to me, all body types should be represented. representation matters- In my industry, I’ve met people of all sizes that feel extremely insecure. body dysmorphia affects so many to different extremes. look in your friend group, family, community for example. It would be unhealthy and unhelpful for me to only show myself posed and with “good” angles as in reality there are no good angles!!!! so this is me. Getting real. and I want to do it more, and challenge myself to be more vulnerable with you.
