Summer is very different this year for all of us, but especially for New York City families. Without the support of school meals and with many parents out of work because of COVID-19, more families than ever are showing up at food pantries and soup kitchens across the 5 boroughs.
That’s why I’m supporting Food Bank For New York City. They are working hard to feed millions of New Yorkers- families, children, and the recently unemployed. Through the end of August, every $1 donated is matched, providing 10 meals to our neighbors in need.
