The 27-metre-long ship burial was uncovered during excavations of an earth mound in Suffolk, in the east of England, and the treasure-filled grave may have belonged to an Anglo-Saxon king from the 7th century AD. Inside were dazzling riches from Byzantine silverware to luxurious textiles, and one of the most iconic discoveries was the Sutton Hoo helmet.
