He yelled my name, “SHAUN TEEEE!” I thought I was dreaming because the ACTUAL Regis Philbin knew who I was! He came into my dressing room as we were both getting ready to appear on @thetalkcbs for a segment and didn’t care one bit that I was changing my socks. He wanted to chat, laugh, tell wonderful stories, be supportive and give some of the most loving energy. While it was a brief interaction, it was enough for me to realize what a kind man he was. Rest well, Regis. Meeting you in a green room was a defining moment in my career and I’ll never forget it!
