After spending 128 days in the hospital — 51 of those on a ventilator — and almost two months in an assisted living facility, Covid-19 survivor Larry Kelly finally went home to his family this week. At one point considered the sickest patient at Mount Sinai hospital in New York, the 64-year-old battled pneumonia in both lungs while in a coma. While doctors strongly suggested that the family agree to take him off life support, Kelly’s wife refused, remembering the last text that her husband had sent her before he was placed on a ventilator: “I promise I’ll never stop fighting.” Tap the link in our bio to learn more.
