“Only A Heartbeat Away” - Tom Scott asked me to contribute a song for his album in the early 90’s. We co-wrote together with the amazing Randy Goodrum (lyricist for one of my favorite TOTO songs, “I’ll Be Over You”.) I had Mike McDonald to sing this, but Randy insisted that I sing it (I’m still imagining Mike in my head!). Anyway, honored to work with Tom Scott any ol’ time of day or night!!
