Kansai Yamamoto (@山本寛斎), the exuberant Japanese designer, died on July 21, 2020, age 76, of acute myeloid leukemia. He has been cited as an inspiration by designers including @Marc Jacobs and @ニコラ・ジェスキエール, but Yamamoto is perhaps best known for his work with David Bowie as the gender-bending Ziggy Stardust.
