Women are hurting in very serious ways, one of which is domestic violence. It is so prevalent in Turkey that they began this challenge to demonstrate how often women in their country get reduced to a simple black and white photo that might become a popular hashtag or a trending image. Let’s educate ourselves on the matter and advocate for those women and for women around the world who are victims or at risk of becoming victims. Let’s look back through all of these photos and see the very scary and very real possibility that statistically any one of us could be next.
