This is part of social media activism against femicide and not just randomly posting cute pics in support of being a woman, which is sweet too, but for knowledge: It’s in support of the black & white pictures published of the faces of dead turkish women. If we’re going to support women one must be an ally to ALL women, and not just the ones within our own identity, class, and ethinicity. Self-identification is hypocricy. I don’t know how posting solves anything, but if it raises awareness and puts pressure politically on a government than i’m all for it. I post this in support for the women killed in femicide.
