But as you know there were no sports happening around the country, so I had to figure out what I could capture in a short amount of time that would look and feel genuine. So, one of my photography assistants got a few high school soccer players to come out in the uniforms and run drills on the soccer field. This gave me a chance to really test out the EOS R5 and RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS lens as if I was shooting from the sidelines. I was also amazed from the start on how well the EOS R5 performed out the box for the first time I was photographing with it, and the RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS lens was fantastic. The image quality was excellent, and the auto tracking was on point. So, I was able to produce some great images on day one after receiving these new products.
