This week, we’re sharing stories of resilience from our hometown, New York – as told to a data journalist and illustrator, @MonaChalabi. Tune in to read stories about New Yorkers running small businesses, working in healthcare and delivering food to those who need it – all from organizations Coach and the Coach Foundation have supported throughout COVID-19 including @nycsmallbiz, @montefiorehealthsystem and @feedingamerica. Ryan Gil, RN, is pretty new to nursing but he’s a veteran of New York City. So, when his professional life was shaken by the Covid-19 pandemic, he felt comforted by the fact that he was surrounded by driven, resilient, fellow New Yorkers. “COVID-19 came around, and anxiety was at an all time high”. Thankfully, things have improved considerably in the city but Gil still maintains the same vigilance at work. He says that focusing on hygiene has allowed him to “keep my head level”, as well as the knowledge that he is helping members of his Hispanic community in the low-income neighborhood of the Bronx where he grew up. But the medical care teams at Montefiore and Einstein rely on philanthropic generosity in order to keep on treating patients, preventing the spread of disease and innovating solutions. By donating to the Critical Response Care Fund, you can support immediate needs including supplies, equipment, transportation, research, and more—ultimately, helping to halt this pandemic. The Coach Foundation is proud to support Montefiore and their work in healthcare. To learn more visit @montefiorehealthsystem. To date, the Coach Foundation has committed more than $4 million in COVID-19 relief efforts globally including @nycsmallbiz and @montefiorehealthsystem. The Coach brand has also donated over $3.5 million worth of product to healthcare frontline responders and raised over $200,000 to date for Feeding America, donating 100% of net profit from Coach Face Masks sold in the U.S. ✍️ & 🎨 by @monachalabi」7月30日 22時58分 - coach
