Tybre Faw traveled seven hours and waited several more outside a church hoping to meet his hero: John Lewis. He held a sign that read, "Thank you Rep. John Lewis. You have shown me how to have courage." They met two years ago when Faw was 10 and Lewis was 78, and they became friends — even marching together. On Thursday, Faw read the late congressman's favorite poem at his funeral. "I had the chance with John Lewis to spread the word that our world can be better — to find a way to get in the way — get into good trouble. He will always be my hero," Faw said after Lewis died.
