They were faced with making a decision between Sophie & Boris and that decision was not possible for them to make. They could not leave either behind and knew they had to find a way to bring both. They sacrificed their needs, picked up more work in order to ensure both of these babies could be loved in the way they deserved. . We did an experiment with Clive Wynne and his team to see how the Russian domesticated and tame foxes acted meeting new people and Familiar people. We didn’t tell Clive which was which. When Boris was up, Clive said “that’s a dog!”!!! Boris behaved immediately in a manner that dogs do in the experiment. He went right up to the u familiar person and jumped in her lap. Of course, they are very different and the mini experiment also showed that while Russian domesticated foxes are certainly more friendly towards unfamiliar people, they are not domesticated dogs.
