(1/3) "Our organization is an enigma in the sense that everyone knows about us, but few really get to peek behind the curtain. I knew of CIA, but it always seemed to be in the context of news or a Hollywood set. From an outsider’s perspective, it’s easy to see CIA as an organization filled with real life James Bonds, because that’s all we’re shown to be. I never really understood all that CIA had to offer, so it never occurred to me that my talents could be brought to bear – in a valuable way – to CIA’s mission. I’m an Economic Analyst, and I'm doing a rotation as a recruiter to show people that there are opportunities for them at CIA apart from what the news or Hollywood portray. We want to actively shift the narrative of what is the ‘typical’ CIA officer. The reality is that we need a broad range of skills to ensure the success of our mission."
