I’ve gone through a lot of hardship and struggles in the last few years without getting too into detail, I just feel so fortunate to have a family and friend group that is so strong and radiates positive growth in every way. I have the best people around me that are constantly encouraging me to be the best, most effective version of myself each day and it’s helped me flourish in so many ways I can’t even begin to explain the ripple effect it’s had in my life. About 2 years ago I left working as a pharmacy technician to pursue something that made me happier. I was going through a lot of life changes and wanted to commit to something that was for my own happiness. It was scary giving up on all the years I put into a dedicated career for myself but I knew it wasn’t for me and my mental health reflected on that daily. At the end of last year I made a big step to move closer to my hobbies and friends. I started working multiple jobs to compensate and it burnt me out quickly but the determination was worth the effort. I finally found myself in a spot where life could make sense and progress felt real, I didn’t feel like I was facing a dead end or struggling to get by anymore. I started valuing myself and respecting myself more along with growing independence and love for myself. I’m happy with where I am in life and I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
