I think she knows where all the scents are and is playing the clock.... what do you think? . We have them timed so if they can’t find them all in 5 minutes, the game is over... but I have seen her find them in 1.5 minutes, so sometimes I wonder if she knows where they are, but wants to just hang out with us a bit longer... so, we will have to watch this closely. I do love how she walked over the decoy empty pink canister... she didn’t smell the scent, but saw the canister- this helps us confirm that it is the scent they are finding and not just the container... . We added the ladder to the training and neither Maksa or Viktor have any issues. Mikhail doesn’t have any issues either....Today, we forgot to take the ladder back outside and Libby was paralyzed with fear at the ladder being inside and not outside. She plays around it every day outside, but moving it was too much for her. We got her to focus on the training and she made it thru the session, while keeping a close eye on the ladder in case it lunged at her!!! We sometimes forget while working with the Russian domesticated foxes how easy breezy they really are with new things in their environment, including people. Libby and certainly Vinnie are super sensitive to any minor change in their environment, anything moved or added.... these can be threats to them and they flee or fight.... both Libby and Vinnie are more flee... but we try to use the Russians comfort at new things to help them accept changes... and it actually does help! .
