While we cannot meet physically for Global Climbing Day this year, the goal remains the same: celebrate the community we love and the ways in which climbing can be a tool to create a more inclusive and equitable world. A jaunt into the mountains last week w @malikthamartian @conrad_anker @adreadedclimber @bookofsamuel was a great reminder why we seek out these wild places. The mountains don’t care where you’re from, how much money you make, what religion or race you are. They reflect back who you are and what you put out into the world. These are some of the reasons we go out there. But access to these opportunities are not guaranteed to everyone.
