The Voting Rights Advancement Act, now renamed after John Lewis who was willing to die for the right to vote as he marched across the Edmund Pettus Bridge, still awaits passage. The challenges are ever so pressing with a global pandemic and continuation of misinformation and disinformation. We need to persist to uphold and ensure full, equitable, fair and safe voting participation in all elections. Let’s continue the worthy fight and use our voice to vote.
