As it’s bikini season I decided to share this for some real talk. 🦋
I’m not pregnant but this is me almost every day even after a light breakfast. I’m built small, I eat vegan, I cut out lots of food that tends makes most people bloat (no caffeine, no dairy, no raw veggies) but the moment I drink a soy latte - this is how I look and feel most of the day. I’m sharing this because I was super hard on me yesterday when I was on the beach and I felt frustrated because I woke up feeling happy and fit and after breakfast I had such a round belly for hours and I had a really uncomfortable feeling and I was angry with myself - for no reason. Because often there’s nothing we can do but listen to our bodies and appreciating them for everything they do for us. Without comparing or judging ourselves. I feel bloated when travelling (and often even at home) ever since I turned 13. My Mum even called an emergency once because my pain was so bad that I was in bed crying in pain. I learnt how to deal with it and I cut out most food and normally won’t have such pain anymore. But anyways, this is normal - And if you feel the same: don’t be hard on yourself and your body. You’re not alone with it 🦋
