To celebrate ‘book lovers day’ I’ve chosen one of my more obscure loves. This book about Gloria Vanderbilt is both the riveting story of the difficult life of an alternative American society girl and visually very inspiring. Gloria’s house interiors, her lust for patchwork and her own electric collages are wonderful. And btw- the baby, her son is Anderson Cooper - the hard hitting CNN reporter shot by Diane Arbus XJP #bookloversday
