Correction- yes this person is need of LOVE but not from you. A person who will string someone along, knowing they’re not emotionally available is one who is in need of self LOVE. Self LOVE promotes respect, LOVE and healthy relationships therefore that person would not want another person to suffer at the expense of their lack of self LOVE, wouldn’t allow you to chase them endlessly and/or “wait” for them. LOVE is challenging and painful at times but LOVE is never long suffering at the hands of another. Especially one who’s suppose to care about you. Moral of the story.
