It always starts as one step. Just one step.

I never could have imagined that one step off the plane at World Juniors in Jamaica in 2002 would lead me to my eventual husband and to my daughter, Camryn.

I would have never predicted that one explosive step out of the blocks in Athens in 2004 would lead to 27 Global Medals and two World Records.

I didn’t know that taking one step toward what I believe in would help create maternity protection for female athletes everywhere.

It all starts with one step. Take that step. Break Records. Break Barriers.
