After playing around with that initial Andy Warhol LEGO Art set, I was really inspired to do MORE and my initial reaction was to recreate my own images in @LEGO! You can check out this and my other piece at the exhibition at Brisbane Powerhouse from today!

Ever since I was young I was obsessed with Andy Warhol and Pop Art in general. Now, as an adult, I always approach my work with a Pop Art sensibility, trying to produce images for people to like as quickly as I can and with that trying out as many different versions of those things! Now with the opportunity to use LEGO, I could apply my craft abilities and be a bit more interpretive colour and shape with what I could make, being able to make changes on the fly!

So my first piece is my forever Burger Hat image! I think it turned out alright! Let me know what else I could potentially make!
