Pain cannot be measured. If it’s a bad break-up/divorce, loss, natural disaster, abuses, ACES (adverse childhood experiences) the first thing humans tend to do is say, “Oh, you can’t compare a break-up to abuse.”

Yes, not only can we, we must. We must stop NEGATING that pain is real no matter the cause. That does not mean we wallow in it, it doesn’t mean we use it as an excuse to never heal...

it merely means that the second you NEGATE pain, pain begins to negate you.

It fills your cells, tissue and fibers like a metastatic cancer. It hides within the body if not felt and released certain to bring on anxious, depressive spells and even disease.

The time we spend weighing one person’s pain against another’s we could be busy supporting each other, validating that pain is relative and helping one another heal.

YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM if you are not a PART OF THE SOLUTION.

The solution requires less uninformed speak said with authority.

NO ONE can say what form of treatment or healing will work for the next person. Healing is a subjective process.

If you “don’t believe in meds” that’s wonderful, you don’t have to take them. If you do, that’s wonderful, you should take them. But the moment, you decide you know best for another what you can only know for yourself, you have become a part of the problem.

Stigmatization is the key to a broken world. I don’t know about you, but I’m done with this broken world sh*t!!
