I try to refrain from being overly political on our Instagram page - after all this is about my work as a Designer, and about our House .. but is it really possible to keep the two apart when the stakes are this high? Can anybody today afford not to be political? I’ve always wanted my work to stand for tolerance and inclusiveness, be respectful and see beauty in unexpected places -isn’t this in itself a political act now? These coming elections in the US of A will have an impact not only locally but for each and every one of us . This is not about Democrats or Republicans anymore - it’s about human decency, compassion, tolerance, basic human values regardless of what your political views are.. so I’m posting this because Michelle Obama’s speech gave me such hope... and it’s the one thing we all need more than anything right now 💪🏼
