My Communications degree (think speech communications) was focused more around pre-law classes; how to write persuasive speeches for trial, manipulation, public speaking, etc. And with my Journalism degree I learned how to tell stories through images, how to film/ edit, and how to share information through multiple platforms (tv, social media, website, etc). ————————————— Brains and Beauty can go hand in hand. You can embrace your body and wear a bikini, while still remaining professional and demanding respect in all aspects of your life- including the work place. People ask me all the time “what if *insert name of older person in a position of power* sees your Instagram photos?” & I always respond— “If they won’t take me seriously or don’t respect me after seeing my skin.. then that says everything about them.
